I bought this because it immediately made my foot tapping and my body rocking and over the last months it somehow became one of the records I listened most often to. Fabulous EP, that.

Nice Indie Alternative Rock. Accomplished musicians, Narla paint a sound-scape that captures Punk-a-Billy, Grunge, Stoner and a little 70ies rock. It’s such a great little EP that I’m having trouble choosing a favourite. I’m definitely looking forwards to more tunes by these boys.
Favorite track: Nala Damayanthi.

I just missed seeing the band live in Sydney. Another time, perhaps. Great EP; I'm looking forward to hearing more!

Absolutely wicked EP out of Australia! NARLA will have you tapping your toes and bobbing your head with its infectious groove. Non-stop rock n roll, smooth as a baby's butt. Zhakathoom was right, I overlooked this one for sure and now it makes 3 official supporters and adds to my top EP list of 2014.

"Again" is, to me, undoubtedly one of 2014s very best songs. It's jampacked with emotions and great buildups. I just plain flat out love it!
Is this the most overlooked EP of 2014? It surely must be! I mean; it's in my and one other collection?!? Whaaaat?? :O
Favorite track: Again.
Good sound for a road trip !!! The stoner rock atmosphere as relaxed as driving on the open road while the wind blows your head clear through the car window. Stephan
Boy-girl harmonies, deep fuzz stoner baselines, and cosmic anthems—Turtle Skull nails everything Black Mountain used to do before BM got that divorced dad sound. Josh Steichmann
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
